NIGHTSTRIKE FAQ: Movement, Sizing, Warranty and Ordering
The watch
What movement does it use?
A genuine Seiko NH36 automatic with day and date, the real Seiko movement, not a Chinese clone. It's regulated to ±10 seconds per day, with a timing card in the box, and you can see it through the sapphire exhibition caseback.
Is the movement tested before it ships?
Yes. Every NIGHTSTRIKE is regulated before it ships, with a hand-filled timing card in the box.
How big is it?
The case is 42mm across, 51.5mm lug to lug and 12.6mm thick including the crystal. The strap tapers from 22mm to 18mm.
How water resistant is it?
Water resistant to 200m. Every watch is pressure-tested at the factory. The crown screws down.
Which straps are included?
Both: the matte black PVD-coated 316L steel bracelet and the black FKM strap. You choose a stitch color: Drive (red), Focus (yellow), Progress (green), Momentum (orange) or Perspective (blue). The bracelet and strap swap without tools using quick-release.
Will the bracelet fit my wrist?
A link-sizing tool comes in the box so you can size it at home.
The edition
Is the waitlist the same as the Founders 100?
No. The waitlist is free and just gets you first access. The Founders 100 are the first 100 numbered NIGHTSTRIKE watches, 20 in each color, offered to the waitlist first when preorders open.
Is Founders 100 per color or total?
100 watches total, 20 in each of the five colors. When a color’s 20 are claimed, that color’s Founders run is closed.
Can I choose my serial number?
No. Serials are assigned at the factory across all five colors. The Founders 100 are NS-001 to NS-100, and every NIGHTSTRIKE after that is numbered too, from 101 up. Serials aren't tied to the order in which people sign up or order.
Will Founders 100 ever be made again?
No. The Founders mark, numbers 001 to 100 and the Founders perk won't return. NIGHTSTRIKE itself continues as our regular watch, and every one is numbered, from 101 up.
Ordering
How much will NIGHTSTRIKE cost?
Founders pricing: $350 to $400 for the full kit, with the steel bracelet and the FKM strap in one box. Waitlist members hear the exact price first.
How does the waitlist work?
Join with your email and pick a color. Earlier sign-ups get earlier access to order before the public release. Signing up is free and doesn't commit you to buy.
How do preorders work?
Preorders open only once our manufacturer confirms a ship date in writing. You pay in full at checkout. See Returns.
Can I cancel my preorder?
Yes. Pre-orders may be cancelled at any time prior to shipping for a full refund. Email us at support@resurgewatchco.com with your name and order number. After delivery, our normal 30-day return policy applies. See Returns.

When does it launch?
Once our ship date is confirmed in writing. The waitlist hears first.

Where do you ship, and how fast?
The first run ships to the United States only. In-stock orders ship within 1 to 3 business days of your order; preorders ship by the estimated date shown at checkout. Outside the US? Join the waitlist. We'll tell you first if we open international shipping for a future run.
What if it isn’t right for me?
Return it within 30 days of delivery, unworn and unsized, with everything from the box. See Returns.
What warranty does it have?
A 5-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects, from delivery. It transfers to the next owner. See Warranty.
